Senior Supply Chain Planner
Coop Denmark – be part of shaping the supply chain of tomorrow
Albertslund | Full-time
Do you want to play a key role in optimizing how goods move from supplier to store — smarter, more sustainably, and more efficiently? Are you experienced in planning and motivated by turning strategy into action? Then you could be our new Senior Supply Chain Planner at Coop Denmark.
Join Coop – a community with purpose
Coop is more than a retailer — we are a cooperative built on responsibility, sustainability, and local communities. Founded in 1866, Coop is owned by more than 2 million Danes alongside our cooperative partner OK. Today, we operate around 900 stores across Denmark under the brands SuperBrugsen, Kvickly, Brugsen, and 365discount, supported by 40,000 colleagues working toward better food, better stores, and a better future.
As a Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will join our Supply Chain team in Albertslund, where you will both help design and be responsible for shaping future ways of working across our value chain.
Your role – from insight to execution
In Coop, supply chain planning is about more than logistics — it’s about ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time while balancing efficiency, sustainability, and business priorities.
You will take a leading role in day-to-day operational planning and long-term improvement initiatives, with clear authority to question current processes and introduce smarter solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and optimizing product flow across selected categories
- Ensuring high delivery performance, even in dynamic conditions
- Taking ownership of the end-to-end supply chain from supplier to store
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and planning processes
- Acting as a trusted advisor and mentor within the planning team
- Collaborating closely with category management, logistics, procurement, and external partners
- Contributing to the continued development of Coop’s supply chain strategy
Your profile
You are methodological, structured, and take initiative, and you thrive in a role that combines daily operations with continuous improvement. You are comfortable making decisions, guided by data and business understanding.
We expect that you will bring:
- Several years of experience in supply planning within retail, FMCG, or similar industries
- Practical knowledge of planning systems such as Relex, SAP, or similar tools
- Solid analytical skills and the ability to prioritize effectively when priorities shift frequently
- Advanced Excel skills and proficient Microsoft Office capabilities
- Experience working with process optimization and cross-functional stakeholders
- The ability to communicate clearly and create alignment across teams
- A relevant higher education degree, such as cand.merc., engineering, or equivalent
Please note that danish language skills are not required at a professional level. However, understanding Danish is necessary, as it is Coop Denmark’s corporate language.
Why join Coop?
At Coop, you will be part of an organization driven by purpose, collaboration, and development. We value professionalism, teamwork, and new ideas — and we believe the best solutions are created together.
We offer:
- A key role in one of Denmark’s largest retail supply chains
