Senior Supply Chain Planner
Coop Denmark – help us shape the supply chain of the future
Albertslund | Full-time
Do you want to help shape how we move goods from supplier to store – smarter, greener, and more efficiently? Are you skilled in planning and good at bridging strategy with operations? Then you might be the person we are looking for as our new Senior Supply Chain Planner.
Welcome to Coop – a community that makes a difference
Coop is not just a retail chain – we are a movement for responsible trade and strong communities. Since 1866, we have been owned by ordinary Danes – today more than 2 million – together with OK as our cooperative partner. We run about 900 stores under the banners SuperBrugsen, Kvickly, Brugsen, and 365discount, and we are 40,000 colleagues working every day for better food, better stores, and a better future.
As a Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will be a key part of our Supply Chain team in Albertslund. You will be given both responsibility and trust – and the opportunity to shape how our supply chain will look tomorrow.
Your role – where strategy meets action
At Coop, supply chain is not just logistics. It’s about understanding the entire value chain – from supplier to store – and ensuring that our customers always meet well-stocked shelves and strong product assortments.
You will be a key player in both daily operations and long-term development, with the freedom to innovate and set direction.
You will:
- Drive and optimize planning and product flow for selected categories
- Ensure high delivery reliability – even under pressure
- Take responsibility for the entire supply chain from supplier to store
- Identify improvement opportunities in systems, processes, and ways of working
- Act as a professional sparring partner and mentor for the planning team
- Work closely with category teams, logistics, procurement, and external partners
- Play an active role in developing Coop’s supply chain strategy
Who are you?
You are structured and action-oriented – and thrive in the field between operations and development. You think in solutions, dare to make decisions, and know how to turn data and insights into concrete improvements.
We imagine you have:
- Several years of experience with supply planning, preferably in retail, FMCG, or similar
- Strong system knowledge – e.g. from Relex, SAP, or similar planning tools
- Sharp analytical skills and a good sense of when things are “good enough” in a busy workday
- Solid experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience in process optimization and cross-functional collaboration
- The ability to create buy-in – among colleagues as well as management
- A relevant higher education – e.g. cand.merc., engineering, or similar
- It is not a prerequisite that you speak Danish. However, it is essential that you can understand Danish, since the corporate language at Coop Denmark is Danish.
Why choose Coop?
With us, you don’t just get a job – you become part of a workplace with purpose. We value professionalism and community, and we believe we go further when we work together. At Coop, there is room to think differently and opportunities to grow – both professionally and personally.
You will also get:
- A key position in one of Denmark’s largest retail organizations
- The opportunity to influence both strategy and daily practice in a developing area
- Great colleagues, strong collaboration, and a high professional level
- A workplace with heart, ambition, and a focus on sustainability
