Your new team
In the role of Store Planner you will become a part of the new Store Partnering team. The team will be heavily focused on leading a closer collaboration between the central supply chain planning functions with the store specific chain operations. You will play an important role in providing better customer experiences in our +900 stores as you support an agenda of improved availability and profitability.
You will report to the manager of ‘Demand Planning and Store Partnering’ in Coop Supply Chain Planning.
About the position
As a Store Partner in Coop’s new Store Partnering team you will be responsible for coordinating with the chains and stores, preparing review meetings and challenge assumptions. Your focus will be on supporting the digital agenda forward in Coop’s supply chain, with the aim of improving the quality and efficiency of planning processes.
Your primary responsibilities:
- Store level follow-up: Follow-up on challenged store level performance in service levels, waste, etc.
- Support for planning organization: Through a deep dive approach helps the planning organization in getting to a more detailed level of planning.
- Cross organizational coordination: Prepare demand review meetings to support senior store planners and senior business professionals on projects and improvement ideas.
- System adjustments: Implement forecast and model changes directly into Relex.
About you:
You have experience with supply chain planning, and you are analytically strong, structured, and have a natural ability to collaborate across disciplines. You enjoy going deep into the data and subsequently presenting your findings to different stakeholders. Finally, you are energized about the opportunity to be part of a new team with a big organizational focus.
We imagine that you have several of the following competencies:
- 1–3 years of experience in demand planning roles, preferably from retail organizations.
- A master's degree in supply chain or related fields
- Solid understanding of statistics, planning dynamics, and forecasting.
- You have the ability to communicate insights and drive operational follow-up based on data (e.g. service level, process compliance, stock counts, and allocations)
- Has experience with Relex or similar advanced planning systems
