You will report to the manager of ‘Demand Planning and Store Partnering’ in Coop Supply Chain Planning.
About the position
As the Senior Store Planning Partner you will focus on availability in our chains and approach planning from a store and consumer perspective. You will drive a combination of ‘running the business’ and ‘changing the business’ analysis and initiatives. Your focus will be on ensuring a consistently high-quality customer experience while remaining profitable in terms of waste in store - even in tricky, exception filled scenarios where the ability to juggle many factors and counteracting effects will be key competences.
Your primary responsibilities:
- Proactive store planning in the context of supply chain changes. Including, but not limited to, refurbishments, new store openings, assortment projects, event planning, halo/cannibalization management, stores heavily influenced by seasons and more.
- Optimized safety stock approach at the store level, to optimize the balance between service levels and wastage
- Root-cause analysis and subsequent forecast optimization at the detailed level
- Run review meetings with a wide array of relevant stakeholders, to ensure cross-functional alignment on expectations, volumes, etc.
- Provide input to store operations optimization projects
- Own, refine and drive the backlog and roadmap of improvement ideas within the store planning functional area within Coop.
About you:
You bring solid supply chain experience and the ability to translate data into actionable change. Comfortable juggling multiple workstreams, you collaborate naturally across disciplines and enjoy refining ways of working. You're energized by the chance to help shape a new team with strong organizational visibility, and driven by bringing structure and momentum to complex deliverables, thriving at the intersection of business, IT, and supply chain. You insist on being data driven.
We imagine that you have several of the following competencies:
- 8+ years of experience in demand planning and business development in complex organisations, preferably in the retail industry
- Strategic understanding of S&OP/IBP processes and the ability to drive them across the organisation
- A masters degree in supply chain or related fields
- Strong commercial, retail and business acumen with the ability to connect market dynamics, growth strategy, and volume effects to concrete recommendations
- Leadership experience – you can develop and elevate junior profiles within the team, as well as act as a sparring partner for management and data science profiles alike.
Coop offers:
An exciting role in a highly ambitious environment where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference. You will become part of a dedicated team with a lot of hunger and high professional expertise and strong collaboration, where you help shape the business agenda in Coop’s supply chain.
- Influence on projects that impact our 900 stores and 38,000 colleagues
