Senior Procurement Specialist – Indirect Goods & Services

As our new Senior Procurement Specialist, IGS you will play a key role in developing category strategies, leading sourcing initiatives, and delivering savings that support the overall IGS agenda.
Working closely with stakeholders across the Nordic markets, you will identify opportunities, strengthen supplier performance, and create measurable value through effective procurement and commercial decision-making.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will join our Indirect Goods & Services (IGS) team and play a key role in shaping the future IGS agenda across the Nordics.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes a broad range of responsibilities, including:
• Develop and execute category strategies across assigned indirect goods and services categories
• Deliver cost savings, working capital improvements, and other value-creation initiatives
• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, including analysis, tender management, supplier selection, negotiation, and implementation
• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements while ensuring compliance with procurement governance and policies
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Provide strategic procurement support and advisory to internal stakeholders across the Nordic organizations
• Utilize market insights, benchmarking, and data analysis to support decision-making and identify new opportunities
• Drive process improvements and contribute to the ongoing development of procurement tools and best practices
To Succeed in the Role
You combine commercial acumen with a structured and analytical approach, enabling you to drive projects and create alignment across multiple stakeholders.
We imagine that you have:
• Significant experience within strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management
• A proven track record of delivering savings and driving business improvements
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex commercial agreements
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in an international or matrix organization
• Solid analytical capabilities and the ability to transform insights into actionable recommendations
• Experience working with supplier management, performance frameworks, and portfolio optimization
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and sourcing methodologies
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with procurement systems and data-driven decision-making
• Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language

You are expected to work from the office each week; however, remote work on certain days is possible by agreement with your manager.
You can expect 20-35 travel days per year with the possibility of overnight stays.
