If so, we’re looking for a Marketing Automation Lead to join our Marketing team.

What would your role look like?  

We run a high volume of paid and targeted campaigns that generate strong top-of-funnel demand. But today, no one owns what happens after a lead enters HubSpot. That’s where you come in. 

As our Marketing Automation Lead, you will build, optimise, and own all automated lead nurture flows that move leads from raw → MQL → SQL - ensuring our sales team only receives qualified, sales-ready opportunities. You will own lead scoring, lifecycle stages, segmentation, nurturing, and the overall automation infrastructure in HubSpot so we stop losing momentum and media spend, and start converting more of the leads we’re already paying for. 

  • Own the full lead nurture journey in HubSpot 
    • Design, automate, and maintain email workflows that guide leads from first touch to MQL and SQL.
    • Ensure every lead from marketing channels enters a relevant nurture journey - no dead ends.
  • Create and manage lead scoring & lifecycle stages 
    • Define what MQL and SQL mean for Lobyco (behavioural + demographic criteria).
    • Implement and continuously refine lead scoring models based on real sales feedback. 
  • Build always-on nurture programs
    • Segment leads by industry, persona, behaviour, and lifecycle stage.
    • Set up drip campaigns, re-engagement flows, and post-webinar/download nurtures. 
  • Align with sales on handover & SLAs
    • Establish clear rules for when a lead becomes sales-ready and how the handover happens.
    • Set up alerts, tasks, and notifications to ensure no hot leads are missed. 
  • Improve conversion rates across the funnel
    • Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, CTAs, creative, and cadence.
    • Identify drop-off points and fix them with improved messaging, offers, or timing. 
  • Report on funnel performance
    • Build dashboards tracking lead → MQL → SQL → opportunity → revenue.
    • Demonstrate ROI by showing how leads progress and how automation impacts pipeline creation. 

Other Requirements 

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have an international mindset and a strong marketing background - preferably from B2B SaaS, retail tech, or complex digital products. 

Education:  

  • Hold a relevant degree in marketing, digital communication, or similar. 

Professional background:  

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with HubSpot automation (or a similar platform). 
  • Proven experience designing nurture flows and lead scoring frameworks. 
  • Experience working with B2B lead generation or demand generation. 

Skills & mindset: 

  • Strategic and Independent: able to define, prioritise, and execute automation initiatives end-to-end. 
  • Analytical: comfortable using data to identify optimisation opportunities. 
  • Innovative: brings new ideas to improve conversion rates and nurture performance. 
  • Collaborative: enjoy working closely with sales, marketing, and commercial teams. 
  • Strong communicator: fluent in English (C1/C2), both written and verbal.

You will report to our Head of Marketing and be part of the wider Commercial team led by our CCO. We meet quarterly for planning, offsites, or simply to connect.
