Join us as our new Head of Operational Excellence
We are seeking an experienced Head of Operational Excellence to build our Operational Excellence program and lead continuous improvement initiatives across our organization. The primary focus will be our five distribution centers in Brøndby, Albertslund, Odense, Hasselager and Aalborg. In this role, you will drive people, quality, service and cost performance by embedding Lean principles methodologies, and best-in-class operational practices.
You will make an impact by
- Develop and implement the Operational Excellence program in Coop Logistic and Supply Chain.
- Lead process improvement projects using Kaizen methodologies.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze performance data, identify opportunities, and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
- Monitor KPIs and ensure sustainable improvements across operations.
To succeed you must
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Have 10+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Lean, or process improvement roles in a manufacturing/logistic environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies
- Proven experience in anchoring and creating excitement about improvement programs like Lean Management or Operational Excellence with focus on the shopfloor.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead change and influence all organizational levels.
- Enjoy being on the shop-floor.
- Speak Danish fluently.
