At Coop Trading A/S, our Packaging Coordinator plays a key role in developing and optimizing packaging for our Nordic private brands. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to challenge the status quo and create innovative, sustainable packaging solutions – always with a Total Cost of Ownership perspective.
The position is part of our Nordic Supply Chain department consisting of 23 skilled and dedicated colleagues. In the daily work you will be part of our Packaging & Contract optimization Team, and work closely together with our Packaging Specialist and Supply Chain Specialist.

Your key responsibilities:
The tasks in the position are many and varied, and will among other things include:

• Optimizing the packaging solution (primary, secondary, shop unit, pallet) with a Total Cost of Ownership mindset in close cooperation with Coop Trading's internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, our 4 Nordic markets, procurement, quality specialists, design, etc.)
• Handle packaging complaints from our 4 partners warehouses
• Ensuring ongoing quality assurance of packaging and packaging data reported in the packaging module at all packaging levels (primary, secondary, shop unit, pallet)
• Investigating and developing new innovative and sustainable packaging solutions together with our suppliers
• Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the Packaging strategy internally and in relation to Nordic partners

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:

• Have +2 years’ experience working with packaging and supply chain optimization including warehouse and pallet efficiency
• Have flair for handling complex data and calculations. Advanced Excel skills is a plus
• Experience in optimizing with a TCO perspective when developing packaging solutions
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to optimize packaging across the entire value chain
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Relevant education on a bachelor level (commercial, technical etc.)
• Have solid English skills (knowledge of Nordic languages is a bonus)
• Are proactive and curious – eager to challenge the status quo and identify new opportunities
• Are detail-oriented and structured and have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for your work
