Project controller

Project controller –  supporting the retail app of the future 
 

In Lobyco we have created the customer loyalty and sales platform for the future across the global retail industry. Our app solution enables retailers to move from omni channel marketing to individually tailored communication and sales. After having spent the last 5 years refining our solution to become a natural part of life for 1,8 mill people in Denmark, we now are ready for the next great leap forward. Part of this, is to scale up our business knowledge and process optimisation to ensure excellent project compliance across our business.

Maintaining structure within a fast paced start-up culture  
As our new coming project controller, you will be given the responsibility of securing high quality in our masterdata for projects and the projects registrations, thus your main area will be working with the processes and structures in project and time registration system - Timelog. You will be reporting on the projects and the teams time-consumption, and follow up with the teams as part of the monthly financial cycle. 

As a fairly new and large company, many processes are not fully integrated throughout the business, thus you will also be the process specialist of Timelog, that will be supporting the business in learning the new ways, while still always meeting the hard financial deadlines. You will have the responsibility reporting on the important business tasks and follow up with the business to ensure they meet the deadlines (invoicing, closing hours before monthly reporting and such).  
 
As we see ourself as a start-up community, it is important that you can manage many small processes at once, and don’t easily burn out in a chaotic and high speed atmosphere. As a person you work independently, have a sharp eye for quality and is analytical. Preferably you express positive mindset with a can-do attitude, and are conscientious and loyal towards your colleagues and tasks.  
 
Controller experience with solid skills within project controlling 
We dream of a person who enjoys joggling big datasets and navigate well with deadlines. For project management system we use Timelog, why you preferably have experience with this program or similar. Additionally, your CV comprises: 
 

  • Educational background within Finance – preferably you hold a relevant B.Sc. (HD) or M.Sc. degree within accounting or finance.  

  • Solid experience within project management and process optimization.  

  • You are keen user of MS Office and super user in Excel. 

  • Communicate fluently in Danish and English (Both written and verbal)  

 
Your Colleagues  
You will join the financial team currently consisting of 2 persons and thereby make the third in the team of fun and dedicated colleagues. This constellation means that you will have a great influence on the alignment and creation of new process flows. You will be seated in an open office with great possibility to engage with the rest of the people at the Copenhagen office, located in idyllic surroundings in Albertslund.
