We are looking for an experienced Programme & Project Manager with solid project delivery skills.

Your role:

As our Programme & Project Manager, you will report to the General Manager, Strategy & Business Development and be responsible for leading complex cross-Nordic projects end-to-end, from scoping and planning through execution, handover and value realisation. You will work closely with stakeholders across Coop’s organisations in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

In addition, you will support programme coordination when related projects are grouped into a programme. Here, you will establish governance and manage cross-project dependencies, progress, risks and benefits.

You will work closely with our 3 Project Managers.

Key responsibilities:

•    Manage complex cross-Nordic projects end-to-end, from scoping and planning through execution, handover and value realisation tracking
•    Establish clear project objectives, plans, milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks and decision points
•    Handle project governance, prioritisation and gate approvals based on business value, impact and capacity, in cooperation with the management team
•    Support programme management by coordinating related initiatives and managing cross-project dependencies
•    Ensure accurate project data and reporting in the project management system
•    Improve project processes, tools, templates and onboarding materials
•    Proactively manage project risks and issues to ensure smooth project delivery

To do well in the role, we imagine that you:

•    Bring effective communication and stakeholder management skills, plus the ability to deliver clear presentations
•    Have experience leading complex cross-functional projects. Experience with programme coordination is an advantage.
•    Have a solid understanding of project governance, planning, risk management and stakeholder management
•    Have experience working with business cases, financials, and value tracking
•    Have experience with process improvement. Lean certification is a plus.
•    Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
•    Are fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish is an asset
•    Are a certified Project Manager (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)

Personal competencies:

You are a proactive and results-driven project professional who enjoys working across functions, cultures and organisational levels.
In addition, you:
•    Have strong analytical capabilities and a structured approach
•    Are skilled in stakeholder management and aligning others without formal authority
•    Are highly organised and results-oriented
•    Have strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage competing demands
•    Take initiative and question existing ways of working to make improvements
•    Thrive in dynamic environments where change and continuous improvement are part of everyday business

What we offer:

•    An important role with the opportunity to lead business-critical projects and programmes across the Nordics
•    A central position in a growing PMO where you can help shape standards, ways of working, and execution discipline
•    Close collaboration with internal and external senior stakeholders and broad exposure across markets, functions, and strategic priorities
•    Opportunities for both professional growth and personal development in an ambitious and collaborative environment
•    The chance to be part of a purpose-driven company that is shaping the future of Nordic private brands for millions of consumers
