Partner Sales Manager – successful software start-up 

Can you build partnerships with large IT and consultancy companies? 

 

In Lobyco we have created the customer loyalty and sales platform for the future across the global retail industry. Our app solution enables retailers to take individually tailored communication and sales to a whole new level. After having spent the last 5 years refining our solution to become a natural part of life for 2,0 mill people in Demark, we now are ready for the next great leap forward.  

We have the right product, and the customers love it. The sky is the limit. And that is why we need you! That is, if you bring experience from partner development and you are motivated by major freedom and equal impact as part of a very successful and economically super solid software start up.  

 

Full responsibility and impact from strategy to execution  
As Partner Sales Manager your job is to build partnerships with some of the larger IT and consultancy companies. You will do so by identifying how the Lobyco and the partner can complement each other in terms of adding value to each other’s services. From there you will set up meetings at executive level and formalise the partnership.  

 

Afterwards the success depends on your ability to make Lobyco a natural part of the solution mindset in the heads of the partner’s consultants – make them understand that it’s a good idea to bring in Lobyco as part of a customer project/dialogue. And don’t worry. You have a great product that will enable you to establish relations and set up meetings. Your primary tasks will be to: 

 

  • Develop a new partner go-to-market strategy including offerings and USPs 

  • Establish partnerships with large, international IT and consultancy companies 

  • Educate partners in Lobyco services and deliveries 

  • Drive partner enablement and oversee technical capability development 

  • Work with sales to drive sales via partners 

 

We already have a formalised partnership with Microsoft that has understood the potential as our solution is based on Microsoft technologies, Azure. Setting Lobyco on the agenda throughout their retail consultancy network could be a natural starting point for you while you are developing the strategy simultaneously.   

  

3+ years of experience from working with partnerships and sales 
We are looking for someone that has the drive and energy that it takes to build a new function from scratch. You must be able to set the direction and work hands-on to turn ideas into tangible results. As part of a start-up you must also thrive in a world where the only constant is change. Related to this, you must be able to make business critical decisions without knowing the full picture. Building relations naturally also takes very good communication skills. Additionally, your CV comprises: 

 

  • A business centred university degree at Master’s level 

  • 3+ years of experience from working with partnerships and sales 

  • Experience within business development  

  • Very good English skills, written and spoken

You will join 8 highly motivated and skilled colleagues at our top modern and nice office in Albertslund, Greater Copenhagen, whenever you aren’t working from home, as flexibility is a natural part of life in Lobyco. Your new team covers all commercial aspects of the Lobyco business from strategy to customer success, presales and sales. Right now, we are recruiting two sales specialists, a digital marketing manager and yourself.
