We are offering a rare opportunity as Procurement Specialist, Fruit & Vegetables, based at our Valencia office.
In this role, you will manage your own product portfolio, develop sourcing and negotiation strategies, and build a competitive supplier base for the Nordic markets. You will also lead tenders, finalize contracts, and ensure data readiness for smooth execution. Beyond procurement, you will contribute to assortment development, bring new product ideas to the table, and play an active role in shaping the fruit and vegetable category.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive category management within fruit & vegetables, including strategy development, growth initiatives, and supplier management in close collaboration with key stakeholders
- Lead negotiations, supplier base development, and harmonization across categories to secure competitive pricing, quality, and Total Cost of Ownership
- Monitor global market developments and translate insights into value propositions, competitive assortments, and private brand opportunities
- Ensure end-to-end execution of category activities, including product specifications, pricing, master data, forecasts, and delivery performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Packaging, and Nordic teams to optimize packaging solutions and logistics
- Act as a trusted partner and mentor for Nordic Buyers and purchasing interns, contributing to capability building within Procurement
What we are Looking For
- Solid experience within purchasing and strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage projects and stakeholders across functions and markets
- Good understanding of packaging and logistics; experience from the Nordic retail market is a plus
- Experience with fruit & vegetables is an advantage
- Data-driven mindset with strong Microsoft Office skills
- Fluent in English; Nordic languages are an advantage
